It's such a beautiful day to be sad

It's incredibly gorgeous and clear out. The sky is brilliant blue, Baldy is bright white and sharp and covered in show, and if I were home it'd have to be May to be this warm. People have headed to the Scripps pool to swim, and I really wish I could be with them, but I need to be here and available to work on SciComp. Actually, I finally need to go work on that, which is a little less annoying because it will get done. Second time in as many days I could have headed to the pool with beautiful women, but no, my annoying sense of duty calls me away. But now, I go. Stupid duty.
