Yep. Still awesome.
Prof. Thom got back to me much earlier than expected - apparently I have the job with her this summer. Starts the second week of June, with some time off around the 4th of July, but other than that I've got a good ten weeks of real employment. It also conviently leaves openings for me to go home at very good times. First, the end of May, being darling Audrey's birthday; and the fourth of July, to fulfill family obligations (against my wishes, but I'm trying to be a good relative) and when friends will be most likely to be around.
Robin and I also went to Brighton Park and signed binding papers on getting an apartment, starting this May, which we'll keep probably through graduation. I'm getting more and more gorwn up suddenly - this summer I will be living in an apartment, on my own, with an AI research job.
