Sigh.
Still still no communications at the apartment. Now that I have to start work, I won't even be available to pester the office about stuff. Right now even my most optimistic estimates are that there won't be internet or networking all the way until next week, since I need to get the basic service set up before adding the DSL, and they have to ship the modem.
Desktop and laptop have been refusing to speak to one another; I'm going to have to break out by flash card reader to do so. There's some stuff that needs to go back and forth; rather a lot of it in fact. Some of it is actually critical, for the game tonight.
OpenRPG still refuses to run on this laptop.
Zoe is as cute as ever, though she seems to have caught a case of the sneezes. Kittens also don't bother to cover their mouth and nose when they sneeze, so Robin and I are occasionally getting blasted with a fine mist of kitty snot. But she's surprisingly well-behaved, and hasn't tried to escape yet, despite only having so much room to run around. And run she does. Recently she's taken to climbing up the back of my desk chair and perching on the top. Her balance isn't quite that great yet, so she has to dig her claws into the chair to maintain her position; when she realizes that she's almost in pouncing distance of the blinds from there, it's all lost. Then she has to climb up again. She still needs a new scratching post though.
