Zoe has a new toy

And at this rate I might actually get sleep tonight. Well, if I can keep her chasing and pouncing after it for the next three hours, she might be a little tired.

Ok, so I'm no interior decorator.

I put up the various posters around the apartment. All told:

- Gandalf above my computer
- Shakespeare!Fairy over Robin's computer
- Starmap on the south wall of the bedroom
- Hilbert over the bookshelf with the phone
- Yoda over the head of the bed
- Zim over the table
- Space left blank for whiteboards over the couch

Somehow, they don't feel quite as appropriate there as they do on the walls of a dorm room. Maybe I'd just gotten used to the clean, unclettered white - maybe a part of me is trying to "grow up". This isn't one of those growing ups that I'm particularly looking forward to, either. I like simple pleasures and amusements.

Maybe it's just that half the posters are horribly damaged and creased or torn.

I also get the excitement of trying to put a mattress pad onto a waterbed, tonight. While trying to keep a cat out of the way - a cat that doesn't seem particularly tired. She'll rest for a bit, but then she'll start clawing all over my keyboard and desk until I pay attention to her again.

I just wish I wasn't all randomly headachy....
