Fnord update

Body of Fnord is coming together. I need to work ssome table-saw-fu to get the monitor mounted - does anyone know what the engineering wood shop's rules are on random people coming in and using it? Also, I need to get power to the monitor, which would involve cannibalizing a 3-tine power cord which would never be useful for anything else. Any volunteers?

Talk to the shop proctor, make sure they know you're there. They'll probably make sure you're vaguely competent and know the shop rules, and then they'll leave you alone. Shop probably won't be open for a couple of weeks or so.

Ask Shimshock or Chris. They used the saw for the rolly cart and I know Erik at least is shop-toured and trained, as am I.

if by 3-tine power cord you mean the basic monitor/cpu power cords, I could probably "borrow" one from Scripps IT :)

I read that as "shop-tortured".....

.....

I don't think anything else should be said here.

He did take tools. That qualifies him as shop-tortured.
