Oh, and? I'm amazed there can be something as spammy as thequestionclub. I have a bad habit of checking friendsfriends, and it's reached the point where it's hard to find anything else there. I'm seriously seeing sixteen thequestionclub posts as opposed to four not.

One of you wades through all that on your friends list?

I do belong to thequestionclub, but only because another comm i read (something snarky but less traffic-heavy, like stupid_free, I honestly don't remember) kept having posts that would refer to other posts on tqc that were members-locked, and I got frustrated about not being able to know what the heck was being discussed.

tqc is banned from my actual f-list though. I switched over to the "default view" filter for my f-list instead of "all friends", and tqc is emphatically not included in the filter. So sorry if it's causing you grief. :D Or nevermind, if you're actually referring to someone else. I suspect whoever it is has similar reasoning though. ;)

I'm a member of bad_sex and brutal_honesty but I just don't keep them on my friendslist. Can still see locked entries. (That second one's *also* your fault, now that I think about it...)

Ah, le sigh. Unfortunately there was no option for me to not have tqc on my flist...if I recall correctly, it has moderated membership or something so I wasn't given the option to watch it without it actually showing up like the plague of spam it is. (Unless there's some secret eljay control panel I don't know about--is there???!?!?!??)

The default view filter generally works well enough that I forget about tqc, but I suppose there's a decent probability that in the future I'll drop it altogether.

bad_sex used to be so good! I don't know what happened. :( Aunt Mona got a life, and the dude who would drive anywhere for random internet hookups that he knew to be doomed from the start got a steady girlfriend or something. It's gotten kind of lame now, I think. And bh is good for a laugh every now and again, though to be honest I skip the posts there about 80% of the time. :)
