I enjoyed Race for the Galaxy the one time I got to play it. I've played Shadows over Camelot enough to get really tired of its gameplay. The only really interesting bit is trying to figure out who the traitor is, but once he's revealed he can easily render some of the quests impossible.

I just got my younger brother Race for the Galaxy. It's a nice game. I think I'm with derakon in finding Shadows less interesting, as it seems a lot more deterministic. (Also, for some reason I just find cooperative board games less interesting than competitive.)
