Right.
I got as far as having to put in the root disk before it coughed. It threw a bunch of disk-read errors, so I pulled the disk and put it back in again to try again, and got a kernel panic.
Sigh.
Reformat disk. Rewrite disk image. Replace rescue disk. Reboot....
Got it.
100 MB should be plenty of swap. What the hell, everything else can be root.
Bad block scan. Yes. I want this thing as clean as possible.
And then, the dust settles, and Soultooth is happily accessing Debian.org. I think I win.
