It rains.
A hard cold grey rain, streaking my screen and my window, once the water leaking in was too much and I had to close it. The trees across the valley disappear into obscurity, blurred by water thick as a cloud. The lake surface roils, smooth and gentle no longer. Thunder creases the sky, punctuating the quiet roar or falling drops.
I've missed this.
This is what I needed; summer can end now. I'm ready.
