Bass

I'm really starting to get sick of Marshall being my alarm clock for me. This is far from the first time that I've been woken up by a musicless pounding in my bed. But, to be fair, first I'll find the mitigating factors....

1) It's not his fault my cave-bed funnels low frequencies into itself and amplifies them.
2) It's not his fault when Robin sleeps here; she's a lot more sensitive to the noise than I am.
3) I'm not sure if quiet hours end at 11 or 12.
4) Yes, I know that they live up here so they can play bass, so I should put up with it.

But really, this is the third or fourth time that I've been dragged out of bed simply to escape the loudness. He watches movies on his computer, and turns up the bass to approximately as loud as it'd be in the theater, while the picture is in a 2" by 3" box on his screen. Is it really justified to turn the bass to a level that will beat your heart for you? Or if it's music, is it as worth listening to if the bass drowns out the melody, which is usually more interesting anyway?

Buuut, don't mind me. I'm not good company before breakfast.
