Clarification
I don't support child pornography; I don't support giving porn to children. But I also don't support the position that, "Pornography can have debilitating effects on communities, marriages, ...."
Allow me to restrict my point to those cases where all involved are consenting adults. In that case, I really do believe that sexuality and sensuality, when responsibly applied to prevent disease and unwanted children, should be free and unrestricted. I see now that this proclamation, a sweeping statement of protecting everyone from pornography, is politically worded so that any opposition is tantamount to pedophilia.
I wouldn't have a problem with "Protect Our Children From Pornography Week," but that's not what's been declared, now is it?
