Getting ready for SWE

I've successfully reserved my place in the pageant itself. However, I may need some help in getting ready, as I know just about nothing about how to actually carry myself in women's clothing. (This is notwithstanding the comment that my brother got from a director a couple years ago, that he was the only one on stage that knew how to wear a dress, including the girls, but I digress.) Makeup I know a little more about, but only stage makeup and not real makeup, and even that I left at home. So - I can't do this on my own.... though I trust there would be many Easties willing to help me out for a laugh. I did manage to email my old Director's Workshop teacher and get her to email me the monologue we prepared, that I can perform as my talent:
Ha ha! That Heaven should give man so proud a heart, and yet so little knowledge. Foolish creature, that talks, and laughs, and kisses oft that hand that steals away its reason as if Nature had played the traitor and seduced the sex, without the aid of destiny, or women. Ah, with what pleasant ease the bird may be ensnared - set but a wanton look, and you catch whole coveys; nay, there is magic pertaining to our sex, that draws 'em in, though in the long vacation - and by heaven, I am resolved to work my sly deceits till my revenge is perfect - thus far I've done well, and I'll persevere in the mystery, wheedle 'em to the snare with cunning plots; then bring it off with quick designing wit, and quirks of dubious meaning. Turn and wind, like a fox in a storm, to prey on all, and yet be thought a saint. Thus Queen I'll sit, and Hell shall laugh to see a woman's wit.
I don't have any of my old staging and blocking; not that I'd be able to pull off the whole thing anyway, but it'd be fun to try. I could probably recreate most of it, minus set of course.

So who's with me? Who has some spare time Thursday afternoon that wants to stuff a guy into a dress? (This would also include lending me the dress. I can wash it before giving it back, I promise.)

I'm curious...are you one to those guys willing to go so far as shave legs to be more convincing....
I might be able to help a little...except I don't have much in way of dresses...though if we could fake hips I could give you pleather pants and a red corset that might interesting...
And, well, you might know better how to handle yourself in a dress then I do.
good luck...the event is often full of Easties.
Have fun.

The leg shaving definitely depends on whether I want to live through at least a few weeks, and possibly the end of winter break, wearing long pants to hide them. Or I could find clothes that don't show much leg.

I've got lab thursday afternoon, but I have two dresses that I'm willing to lend you. One of them is fairly long, so you wouldn't have to shave your legs much. Don't worry, there will be lots of people around who can loan you stuff, and help you figure out how to make everything work.

Thanks - I'm not entirely sure who's close to my size yet, though. If I look like I'm eyeing girls in the future, that'll be why.

I'd be glad to help with makeup, if I'm around (I might have a clarinet lesson). I don't think we're the same size though, (finding someone with the same size shoulders will be the trick)...
And you should definitely find some heels.

Yes. Heels in men's size 10.5 are, however, most difficult to acquire.
