Turning point

I may be able to drop research this fall in favor of PLs. Note that I'm already in Algorithms and LSD.

Would I be better off taking three very difficult classes, or two difficult classes plus frustrating work that I don't see going anywhere?

I can't make up my mind.

I vote you go with the three very difficult classes. Being frustrated is way worse that be stressed, in my opinion. Besides, from what I've seen, you handle stress well.

PLs + LSD sounds like an amazing amount of work. Both were really time intensive and LSD is a lot of frustration on its own. Algs isn't easy and if B's teaching it can be down right challenging.

I didn't find school year research with her to be that bad, then again I still owe her stuff because she won't get back to me in a reasonable amount of time. Maybe you can work on a different project?

I did PLs and LSD in the same semester, along with CStems (CS105), E85 (digital engineering), a classics hum by Glass, and a crappy seminar hum.

It wasn't what I would call fun. I took a light 15 units the following semester to help me recover. But I did survive, and I even made the Dean's list! I think you could handle it, though I wouldn't recommend doing anything major with the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the same time.

Hence any Rocky stuff worth mentioning being in the spring.
