It's true what they say; one critical hit can ruin your day

The naga was down half its hit points, mostly thanks to a failed reflex save against a lightning bolt. It'd successfully gotten Shield up on top of its Mage Armor and Entropic Shield (all seperate bonuses, no less), so at AC 24 I figure it could hold a bit before running.

Then the archer shored a critical hit. At x4, on top of his other two attacks.

It dropped from 38 hp to -6. Fortunately, the cleric was the charmed on, so it got a heal and managed to escape via Meld Into Stone.
