Certain people are (at least, were ten minutes ago) sitting out on the quad, blasting music directly at East (I suppose this is coincidence, since they're at North), passing around a hookah as if it were perfectly natural.

Idealogically, I think marijuana shouldn't be a controlled substance, at least not any more than tobacco or alcohol. But my patience is currently in a place where that's the ONLY think that kept me from calling campsec on their stoned asses.

If I still lived at East, I might have anyway. Honestly, would it kill the buzz that much to migrate forty feet up the hill and smoke in the courtyard?

To defend the hookah, I know many who smoke tobacco in hookahs because they're good for flavored tobacco.

But I have the odd feeling that they weren't using flavored tobacco, unless the flavor is "the munchies" which isn't really a flavor at all.

I went to the Persian place (Darvish) for lunch on Sunday. They now sell hookahs.

Actually, I was walking by, and I don't think it was pot, I think it was apple-tobacco. Of course, the scent out of a hookah is very light anyway, so I could be totally off-base.

Anyway... *hugs*. Best of luck with all that life seems to be throwing at you just now. :-/

If it's who I figure it was (Slouch + Friends?) it definitely wasn't MJ. It was probably some sort of flavored tobacco. We had some issues with this in Linde too. Most people who are smoking pot at Mudd manage to do it behind at least a half-closed door. . .
