Slain by weather.
It's snowing.
Ordinarily, on a winter break where I'm home with nothing to do, I wouldn't particularly mind. But I've reached the point where I simply don't want to be home anymore, and since the Sube is here now, and needs to be in Claremont this semester (there is furniture and sound equipment to haul), I need to drive back. I wanted to drive back soon, but frankly, driving in snow is bad enough when you're just making a local trip. I'm looking at a 16 (the short way) or 20 (the long way) hour drive, while a fat storm system has settled comfortably over the southwestern US.
On the other hand, if the snow doesn't slow down FedEx, I'll be getting a new monitor today.
