Back from GDC. All things considered, I think I'd have been better off staying here; that's neither here nor there, though. I felt out of place at the conference. Not only am I no good at schmoozing, I forgot to take a stack of resumes, and am not In enough in the industry to understand the badass tools people were showing off. But enough. I have two days of comics and LJ to catch up on.

The techie cons I've been to have been like that, yeah. For the tools, I just smiled, nodded, and tried to think of things I could do if I knew how to use 'em. Otherwise it was mostly wandering around and watching das blinkenlichts.
