Things I want to have by the end of the summer, since Laserfiche is going to be paying me rather a lot of money:

A brand spanking new laptop, with trimmings.  As dearly as I love SoultoothRed, she's not mine; I also haven't had an honest-to-god new computer since graduating high school. That one was refurbished, even.

Something resembling a full bar.  I don't drink that much of my own; once I have the bar assembled I will only spend as much to maintain it as I spend now.  Then when I drink, I'll at least be drinking in quality.

A DDR pad.  Probably two, since I do enjoy doubles.  Naturally, since I don't own a PS2 or ever plan to, this would also mean getting a USB converter.  Then I can start seeing what other games I can play on the pad, just for fun.

There's probably more, but I do need to budget somewhat sanely.  These things are all investments.

Wow, and MacKenzie and I are planning on stocking one too. Maybe this should all be just one bar, especially since we'll be living next door in the fall.

It would be rather fun to have bar crawls from South to Sontag. I think we need a mudd-bar-l or something, for those of us that run bars on campus. In any event, you should join mixology-l, the folks there can help you out with what you need to buy.

Do keep in mind that you'll need to find room for all this stuff in a Mudd dorm room. I know that one reason I'm planning new acquisitions is precisely because I'll actually have space for them all.
