My family seems to have gotten me hooked on Six Feet Under. They conveniently have the first two seasons around for me to copy and bring back.

Around here, each disk apparently takes three hours to rip, shrink, and reburn. Three hours of constant, needy attention. I'm wondering if it's worth my time to just bring back the real copies, and ship them home when I'm done ... the problem is that I'd kinda like to keep them around and show them in the lounge in the fall.

I don't know if it would save you time or just take more time than doing it the hard way, but this sort of sounds like the job for a script.
