1,2,5: I sense a theme here.

7. Second semester frosh year I figured that with 3 units of frosh chem I could handle 19 units. I was wrong, so I only stayed in it for a few weeks, and went to class for another week or two.

Anyhow, what I saw of it (most of the Java stuff, I think) seemed neat in principle but not quite my cup of tea, at least not at the time (especially with assignments requiring coding. As far as I can tell, I write decent code but it takes me forever). I'd like to go back to a class like it, probably after I graduate, since it seems like it might be fun with a bit less pressure.

7. Where do you see yourself in five years?

Somewhere that isn't the South. Beyond that, I don't know yet.

1. You're an animal lover
2. Draw your bow after nearly a year out of practice
3. The color of your hair
4. You know, better than I do anyway, the kind of life you want to lead.
5. Chatting on a couch at either Funball or Dis-O
6. Horses
7. Do you think it would have worked long-term?

[identity profile] vkrafft.livejournal.com 2006-06-21 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
2 - Well, I can draw it back, but only to about an inch short of my old draw length, and something in my right shoulder is being compressed in a way it disapproves of. I think I'll stick with my plan of getting about a 30 pound bow, and practicing with *that* for several weeks when I start up archery again.

4 - It's not entirely that I know what kind of life I want to lead. It's that I'm guessing what I think will make me happy in my life, and trying to choose a path which I think that (1) I can achieve, and (2) I'll be happy with.

7 - Tricky one. I think that I would have been happy to try it long-term. I still miss you. That said, with the way our relationship started, I'm not sure what would have been left if the "let's have lots of sex!" part wore off. That's not to say I don't think there would have been anything - we just kind of skipped the part where people spend lots of time with each other but don't sleep together. There would also have been some issues which we would have needed to work out at some point in a long-term relationship. I think we could have worked them out, but it's hard to say for sure. (Translation: maybe)
