#6: Retired for damage, winter 2007

This is the first time I've had an actual catastrophic arrow failure, but it sure was spectacular. It also means that I'm in the market for new arrows. Larry suggests Navigators, and since I'll be buying them from him and he passed up the opportunity to recommend X-10s, I'll trust him.

(Also: Frances is crazy, just so you know.)

Well, if you want to pick it up, no worries about your arms exploding - recurve bows (my weapon of choice) start at about 18 pounds, which is just easy. Larry (the honorable proprietor of Salt Lake Archery) charges (I believe) $11 for a day's rental and shooting pass.

And yes, we should definitely hang out sometime, but I'll be damned if I can figure out when. School sucks.

Anything ever become of that D&D you guys were planning in... uh... September? (Holy crap, it's been a while.)

there was an issue between two of the players, and so we lost some. Oh well. We had to stop then, and I have been so busy doing home repairs and drinking that I really haven't thought of asking Adam if he wanted to start another one.

We just got an expansion for Settlers of Catans so that we can allow more people to play - it's a fun game if you've never played it - also have had a couple parties since the end of last year. Spring is becoming busy, busy for us. . .

maybe we could meet up for archery sometime. If anything, it might boost your ego by seeing just how bad someone could be. . . (and whiny. Let's not forget that.)

Oh god, Settlers. I've had a few, uh traumatic experiences (http://memnus.livejournal.com/257092.html) with that game. But also had a few fun games, and none of the people that tended to take it too seriously are around, so I'm down.

I also have a few other board and/or card games that you may also appreciate.

HOLY CRAP IT'S MY LAST FREE NIGHT OF SPRING BREAK!

And for the record: I used to co-teach a youth archery class, where "youth" is anything 8 and up. I doubt you can be that bad OR whiny, let alone both at the same time.
