I fail at fudge, but I've come too far to be denied now. I will try again.

As soon as I get the burnt sugar off the bottom of the pan...

EDIT: Deleted previous entry. Can't leave the house after all. Fudge is a needy thing.

Ariel's grandmother's microwave fudge recipe should still be on wiki if you're interested in a recipe that doesn't involve sugar in a pan. All the more power to you for making real fudge, though.

Yeah, I considered looking it up, but I'm stubborn when I fail at something - especially something that ended in food being thrown out. I'll probably try it as an alternative next time.

That and I don't have sweetened condensed milk on hand.
