Daily twitter dump

  • 11:31 Source control... so slow... today #
  • 14:18 On the one hand, that was an immensely biased headline; on the other hand, it's biased my direction. #
  • 16:18 Note to self: the GL2 apps I'm trying to test will NOT run on my G1. #
  • 16:58 NPR's review of Watchmen was certainly merciless. Going to find out for myself tonight. (This could well be a dumb idea.) #
  • 23:42 Landed second in the Watchmen line, behind only an SCA group. Fluxx ensued. #

Yeah, the New Yorker also had an incredibly scathing Watchmen review. Choice sentence: "“Watchmen,” like “V for Vendetta,” harbors ambitions of political satire, and, to be fair, it should meet the needs of any leering nineteen-year-old who believes that America is ruled by the military-industrial complex, and whose deepest fear—deeper even than that of meeting a woman who requests intelligent conversation—is that the Warren Commission may have been right all along."

"Fluxx ensued"

Ah, there's a memory. It's a great game to carry around for random events like that. =)

To be fair, they were playing Munchkin when we arrived.
