Meme - thanks to Benj

Not all of my readers have seen this, so here's how it works: I was given five questions, and will answer them. If you'd like to play the game, post a comment here, and I will give you five questions to answer in your journal, with the assumption that you will similarly give five questions to anyone who wants them, thus perpetuating the meme.

Anyway.

1. All classwork being the same, would you rather live in East Dorm or Griffindor Tower (with the appropriate residents and magical quotient)?
Tricky. On the one hand, I've always wanted to live in a castle, but on the other hand, most Hogarts students are just whiny little punk kids. I think it comes down to East, though - I never was much of one for stairs. Besides, Hogwarts jams all things electronic to keep out the muggles. How would I get on the internet like that?

2. Will we be able to survive Time Suck next year? I mean, while keeping normal hours and some shred of sanity?
Sanity is much better shredded. It's like curtains - an intact sheet just sits boringly over the window keeping stuff out, while the ribbons can fly merrily in the breeze, letting in the light. The real question is, what is sanity a curtain over? But I digress. Yes, I do think we will survive, quite well in fact. What we sacrifice of our own sanity and sleep is for the greater good, so that our friends can be more sane and sleep secure in the knowledge that somewhere, somehow, they will have parties.

3. What's your favorite wonder of the Ancient World?
Definitely Leonardo's Workshop. Free upgrades to all units. I always held off getting Automobile for as long as I could.... Oh, the actual wonders. I'd have to say the Colossus of Rhodes. There need to be more statues over the entrances to harbors; it's much more impressive if you have to sail between the Statue of Liberty's legs to get to New York.

4. Are you able to name all fifty states? And their capitols?
I used to be able to, in seventh grade. Now, I could probably get most of the states (that silly song lives with me still) and maybe half of the capitols.

5. If you ran your own television channel and money was no object, what would the programming be?
I'd specialize in random and shiny things that are fun to watch; not necessarily anything with plot or story, but computer generated music videos, or explorations of fractal space. Or if I got bored, I'd show movies that I want to watch, or marathons of fun TV shows. Actually, one thing I've really wanted to see is an animated magic-eye: it looks like just a snowstorm of static, but if you look at it right, it's actually a movie. In three dimensions! I know they can do it, I just don't think they've bothered to yet.

Would we be able to look up Lady Liberty's dress? ^_^ I think you guys are going to be a fun Time Suck, by the way.

So you should ask me questions!

Questions!

1. Do you ever feel like being eternally perky keeps people from taking you seriously?
2. Having now lived through three weeks of grading, would you repeat the experience?
3. Telekinisis, telepathy, flight, super speed. Out of these superpowers, which would you choose and why?
4. If you were in an anime, what color would your hair be?
5. What's the most ridiculous product you've seen or heard of lately?
