Once again home

I hurt. A lot. Ok, not a lot, but it's uncomfortable to stand up, hence me being stretched out on the sofa with my laptop. Best damn purchase I ever made.

Went skiing for two days, decided to push myself to see how much I could still do, to see if living in California had made me soft. The answer turned out to be no more than a day and a half of hard skiing, hard skiing that two years ago I could have done for three days straight. So yeah, I'm out of shape.

Discovered last night that there is no greater pleasure for a sore body than sitting in a tub with the hot water turned up full, being motionless, just watching the soothing heat slowly rise to submerge you.

Have paper journal to transcribe, stay tuned. But dinner is soon.

It is such a good thing they haven't invented the waterproof laptop...

As ruggedized as SoultoothII is, I would not take it in the bath, no. Though supposedly it's weatherproof.

It probably falls into the category that so many things do of "waterproof when closed"...

I have always wondered where the line between "waterproof" and "submersible" was.
