Crack bragging, I guess

It'd figure that my first character to ever find Sting - while wielding the Phial of Galadriel, no less - would be a demonologist.

I'll skip the huge-ass chardump, because ToME's are ridiculous. Dwarf demonologist, worshipping Melkor. Just hit clvl 44, plowing through Nycadaemons on Mordor 49. That may be overleveled, but I'm pressing through Mordor before Angband, in the interest of clearing out quests and maybe getting a few more helps from Fumblefingers. I guess most of that levelling came from scumming the sandworm lair until I completed the Gothmog set. I also got lucky in picking up godquests early and often. Now I need a couple extra things:

- Nether resistance. Seeing myself suddenly at half hp from a breath weapon was not nice.
- Anti-teleportation. I saw an amulet once but passed it up before I realized how useful it'd be. It'd kill off the nicest part about being a dwarf (innate Probability Travel at level 15!!), but save me a lot of time hunting around huge levels for foes that I smack to the verge of death, curse to a crawl, then teleport away.
- A little speed help. +10 is respectable, but not great if I get really deep, even if I start having summons do more and more dirty work.
- The patience to finish this damn game. I can generally only do two or three levels in a sitting, and crawling all the way down to 100 might be boring.

Wow, a servant of Melkor can wield the Phial and not get his hand burned off. What a travesty.
