Opera is being unkind and making fatal errors each time I try to load it, forcing me to use Netscape for the day.
So I started this entry at n this afternoon, and then got distracted by so many things that I never came back to it. Physics homework, making David's AIM work, frosh chem test tomorrow, Relics & Rituals II. On top of all this, adding to my ADD-ish behaviour, I've joined up an online D&D shared world, taking over for a GodDM that stepped down. I have to become familiar with a world, a region, and most specifically a nation. So I'm just kinda swamping myself.
It's not the first time I've tried something like this. A couple years ago, the summer before 3rd edition came out, I hopped on board the fledgling Dark Destiny project. I ran a few games as a DM, but the world flopped on account of apathy on the part of its creator, leaving me with a massive binder filled with world source material. I was foolish to do so - I had (still do, in fact) none of the second-edition source books except in various versions on my computer. Now, with a stack of third-edition books taller than it is deep and two more years of playing experience, I'm willing to give it another shot. Not only that, but I'm only in charge of a region, not a regular campaign time, so I don't have to conglomerate my irregular free time to a certain block each week.
