Thank the gods.
Mar. 31st, 2003 03:09 pmEsin has realized that the date listed for our tech report draft being due is next monday, not this friday, and has pushed her declared deadline back to then. This makes my life so much more sane it's not even funny.
Sleep dep takes its toll....
There wasn't a single night last week when I got to bed before 3. I felt mostly dead by the end, and still pretty much do. I can't go on like that, especially not tonight, with a physics test at 8 tomorrow morning. But the show is starting to pull together as a show, and more specifically, as a cast - last thursday, after rehearsal, we made a spontaneous midnight doughnut run. We would have sat in the parking lot to eat them, but it was too windy, so we came back and chilled at Browning for a while. Then, saturday night, half the cast surprised me by dragging me away at 10:30 and hauling me and Robin (with her foreknowledge, of course) to Long Beach for a Midnight Insanity showing. Due to the preshow (Esther won the lingerie contest) and other stuff, the movie itself didn't start till 1:30, and we went to Denny's for a postshow snack, so by the time Robin and I hauled ourselves back up the hill to crash, it was 5:30 and the sky was beginning to lighten. It was definitely a great time, though.
Anyway, no crack for me just yet. I'm going to haul myself into the lounge (where, despite Dynasty Warriors 4, the temperature is far more bearable than here) and read more of this gawd-awful Postman book.
