I managed to be out of the house again. Jeremy called me up for a spontaneous night out with him and David, so we headed out. Dinner was at Pegasus, the nasty fries spawning the comment that titles this post; then we headed north to movie theaters. Saw Pirates of the Carribbean again, then snuck into LXG. Not much to say about either.
On the outside, those two haven't changed much. David looked the same as he did at Christmas, except instead of looking like he hadn't shaved or cut his hair all semester, he looked trimmed and taken care of, more confident in the long-hair-and-full-beard look. Inside, though, I can tell he's growing ever more mature... I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but he, like all of us is definitely growing older. Of course Jeremy and I poked fun at him for the girl he's seeing... a potential first girlfriend, even, an Archeo grad student, I assume at CU as well. Mostly I just sat back and grinned, though. I've little enough to say on the matter. Jeremy.... I can't tell if he's changed, or not. He smokes now, even if he didn't tonight; this weekend I saw him drunk for the first real time. It's disconcerting to see old friends getting smashed. All the times we'd hung out before had been entirely clean fun. It's not something I'm entirely used to and comfortable with, but it is something that must stew in my head a bit.
Have been listening to Order of the Phoenix - parents got it on CD for whatever reason. Nothing new to say.
