I'm parked at a terminal in the new Philip S. Miller Library in Castle Rock. Over the last 5-10 years, several businesses did some buildign shifting. WalMart built a new supercenter, opening up the old walmart building for a new safeway. The old safeway building got grapped up by the library, and radically redone. I really like the new place, too. It's a lot more open and bright than the old one, and less prone to echos at the same time. There's still the occasional screaming kid, of course, but that's what you get.

Library and bank were the only reasons I actually had for being in town, so I'm stretching it out as long as I can. Once I run out of time here, I'll probably swing by Crowfoot and see if anyone's hanging out; I haven't seen anyone here I recognize beyond a shadow. Something of a diappointment, really. Oh yes, need to go by Hooked on Books too.

And stuff. Still no idea what I'm doing for new years. Don't really want to crash my brother's party; might sit around with a book or a script.

It's my goal to have the Rocky script typed up by tomorrow night. Printing forty pages of it will be a pain, but I can sit around in bored moments at Phoenix and fill in the actual blocking details. Hoffy'd be proud to see me doing that much, at least.

Anyway. Running low on time, and other haunts to lurk.

Script is done, at all of 39 pages. Must check with parents before printing that one out on our old LaserJet; also, need to make the blocking maps to print on the back of each page. Also ought to tell Sarah which curtains I'm working with for each scene so she can take those into account.

I suppose this means I'll need an actual technical staff, this year, something we didn't really have last year. The Ghosts can do stuff onstage, but there'll need to be some stuff going on backstage while they're on (which is all the time) and I don't really feel like making the dancers do it. Although, the Dancers don't have anything to do for the second half of the show. Again, must consult with Sarah about that.

The network cord running into my room fails to work properly when plugged into my desktop. This is a problem, hopefully just a crossover problem. Must beat it up before sunday.

Happy new years to me, I get to spend tomorrow early-evening helping my uncle set up a wireless network in his house. I don't know if this is just a few hours' work. The only work with wireless that I've done is patching it onto an existing network; now I get to take n computers, no existing network, and a brand-spanking-new cable modem setup, and make them all work happily for a non-technically-inclined family. Woo, go me; it'll be a blast.

So Erin, that means if you need to get in touch with me tomorrow call me before 4. If I haven't heard anything by then I'll assume stuff at Jeremy's hasn't been arranged yet and will come straight home. If I hear by four, I can go straight there instead and get there earlier. Thbbt.

So, well, yeah. That's my life until Thursday. Dad wants to go skiing then - I say hell no to that. I'll probably be up all night. (I hope I'll be up all night.) So long as my throat decides to stfu.
