Mmmmm.... the calm before the storm
Feb. 22nd, 2004 04:28 pmThere was lightning, and thunder again, when I was walking back from the terminal room. It's getting toward the time of year that rain, and cloudy skies, are more common than the famous Southern California sun. I can't describe how calming and soothing a real storm is, just sitting out of the rain and watching the lightning crash. It's what I miss most about Colorado, really, and it felt really good to realize there was actually thunder last Friday
This weekend has been fantastic. An easy week of rehearsals, short assignments in both 70 and 81, good parties with good people. Except the review I have to write of the play tonight, I'm done for the week already. Yes, I know, this will be the last time until dead week that I can actually say that. Yes, I know that at the beginning of April, I will be getting more than my share of the splintered reamstick. So don't be jealous of me.
Have much to think about, and don't quite have them eloquent enough to write. On work ethic, on being social, on drinking, on room draw. But nothing is very clear, as of yet.
