Fortran strikes!

So we started Fortran in scicomp today. The class was a lot along the lines of "here's some papers that say stuff, now duplicate the work of this monumental paper." I sat at the computer in the lab for a while with a massive feeling of disorientation running through my head, and got effectively nothing done. So it looks like tonight I need to bury myself away in the terminal room, poking at fortran, wondering how the hell to tell if I'm even close, so I've got at least something to show dePillis in her office hours tomorrow. I never thought I'd see the day where I wished for the ease and simplicity of Matlab.

I don't mind Matlab, really. This is fortunate considering that it's going to be one of my closest companions this summer. Eh.

Nothing to say, ten minutes to be lazy before dinner. I'll take stuff there and head straight down. Don't expect me back here before 8, but I'll take SoultoothII with me in case there's anything urgent.
