Score: Robin/Brian 2, IKEA 0
Jan. 12th, 2005 05:03 pmFirst, I'd like to say that it is a gorgeous day outside. Yeah.
So, we now have (another) bookshelf in the bedroom. This one is not your standard-issue Target particleboard shelf, though, this is a sleek, badass IKEA all-purpose shelf that is merely fated to be covered in books on account of living here. (In the meanwhile, the cats are having fun with all these new places to crawl around and sleep.) We also have half of a pair of shelfy-wardrobe-things set up in the living room, that will probably end up containing crack and office supplies; the other half is still waiting to be set up.
Now, I just need FedEx to arrive, and bring my new monitor that hasn't been seen since 8:15 this morning, in Hacienda Heights. Once *that* arrives, I can take apart my computer and desk setup, unplug the router, and finally get the living room set up as something less of a tangle of cords.
