Now that I'm in the lounge.

Have I ever known rain before this day? The entire courtyard is flooded, and the only grass visible is around the tree. There are flower petals starting to swim their way free. I was planning on dinner out, but with the flooding, I've made a driver's decision to go in on the pizza order and let the roads drain a bit. (MacKenzie, if you're still headed to meet me here, I made sure the pizza would have enough for you too; otherwise, more for me.)

The actual raining has calmed down to tolerable. It will take a while for everything to dry up, though. Fortunately, my time limit for being out tonight is Styles closing at 8, and being back for video work at 9. (Car needs to be home before I'm on campus for that. How many Rocky peeps do you think are hardcore enough to come to Mudd for a party in this?)
