Well, then.
Feb. 22nd, 2005 01:50 amI now posess one copy of Trembling Blue Stars' "Haunted Days" with all the lyrics artlessly removed. Nothing fancy, just repeated cutting in Audacity. It doesn't sound that bad, either... all the skips sound like they could have been caused by someone kicking the CD player. There's actually a good 1:40 of time left in that song after the process, which is fortunately over the 40 seconds or so we need, because the end sounds really forced. All songs should be forced to finish their lyrics befor the instrumentation fades out! To go with this, I'll need to check out the camera again this weekend. Turn off the rain.
I hit the point today in Video Production that I suddenly wanted to explode in a rant about how stupid and pointless it is to overanalyze things. No, it's not worth our time to discuss the influence of gender, class, and race stereotypes in the bloody U2 iPod ad! I've ended up in four classes that do that kind of stuff this semester. Thank gods for TheoComp.
This semester is just... so bizarre. In so many ways. I don't understand. Fortunately, I've never made understanding a priority, just going with it.
