So, luck is with FMTG tonight. First major dragon fight, a green in its lair. It had focused on the party archer, and missed 10 of 12 attacks, even while the other two took nearly half his hit points. But, then Fleck closed to Close range.

Now, instead of a dragon, we had an iguana with a breath weapon to deal with. Ok, and some kobold minions. With a Dispel Magic "waiting".
Why do I suspect a retcon? EDIT - a retcon that killed a familiar, no less. Hi, two level 10 caster minions? Mm, CR 12 for an underfunded level 9/10 party.
