Wow. Ark finally came around and told off Sly like nobody's business. I'm crazy impressed, and glad that it didn't have to be my job to deal with.
In other news, although being set back to the latter stages of ninth level, Fleck is now a certified badass. The dragon's horde brought the group - well, the three of us that split the horde, as people left and showed up - from a 7th-8th level wealth average to an ~11th level wealth average, so we're not behind in that anymore. Fleck immediately purchased a headband of intellect +4, bringing his biggest save DCs up to a beastly 22 (Illusion or Enchantment, and Transmutation when he gets level 10 again) and his best skill roll up to +25. The rest of the group also picked up a +3 mithril breastplate for the archer, a Monk's Belt for the ex-monk, and lots of potions to compensate for the lack of a positive-energy cleric.
