I'm freaking out.
Nov. 15th, 2005 11:35 pmSo I've got that whole job interview tomorrow. That means I get up at 6:30 in the morning, put on a suit, fly to Santa Clara, get in a rental car (THAT makes me feel old, let me tell you) and drive to an interview at nVidia. The interview will last from 1 until 5 or so, then I have an 8:15 flight back to Claremont.
If that sounds like a hell of a day, you're not getting the half of it.
First off, I don't have my laptop. It's been sent off to HP for repairs yet again, this time with a somewhat more clear description of the problem and an inkling of how to reproduce it. Unless they find the problem tomorrow without my help, though (the number they have for me is the dorm room), the soonest it'll get back to me is Monday, which still makes it gone for an entire week that I have to find another way to work on Graphics. All that really leaves me to do on two hours of plane rides - never mind four hours of downtime in Santa Clara - is try to work on that whole personal statement thing that grad schools will want. (First deadline: Brown, December 1.)
I really hope I can sleep.
