That whole "updating" thing seemed to get subsumed in everything else that happened around the end of the semester. So, in no particular order.

At the archery range on Saturday, I got paid in chocolate. Whee.

I'm at my parents' house. I flew in Saturday evening, greeted by single-digit temperatures, and waited around in the airport for Frances to fly in a couple hours later. Played some StepMania, and finally got a decent beat sync to Violet Beauregarde. Finally got back here about 1 in the morning.

Sunday was bum around here day. Took a hike to make sure all the trees were still there (they are); played some RoboRally (yes) and dominos. Also found a decent piece of laminated particle board in Dad's woodshop and made a fill for the DDR pad I packed home. Playing on it is definitely strange - it's not at all forgiving on the feet anymore, and you notice when you put your heel down. Also, it transmits the pounding a lot more directly into the floor, so some decent playing was shaking the bookshelves.

Yesterday, went out to see Narnia, then checked out the new Tattered Cover. I'm not as impressed by it as I am by the others; it's a bit smaller being all on one level, and just doesn't quite feel the same.

Today, dropped Frances off in Boulder, then came back here to be more of a bum. I've added some constructive solid geometry things to the ray tracer: an Inverse operation, and an Intersect operation, both of which ought to work properly with the photon mapping. Aside from that, bumfulness it is.
