Oct. 26th, 2003 01:49 amI've been using the word fuck way too much today.
My eyes are burning. Yeah, I've been around forest fires before, I've been kicked out of my fucking house for them. There's a burnt spot within walking distance of said house. But the smoke has never been this bad. I don't trust myself to breathe consistently, the ash is falling from the sky all over everything. The fire is something like eight miles away, according to GEOMAC. Looking up to the northeast, the sky burns orange and red, flamelight thrown onto dark clouds. I'm morbidly tempted to head out and walk and look for a place where I can see better, either actual flames or at least the mountains silouetted against angry red clouds. It's making me feel sick, or maybe that's the E&M homework that's not done. I have to finish that, and do an entire fucking lab report, tomorrow before campaign.
I don't have anywhere to run. This isn't Marshall or North being loud, this isn't being locked out of my room. This is my life sucking a lot all at once. I want to curl up and cry, but my eyes are dried out and stinging and definitely not about to cry. There's a new MuABioWriDiMo prompt that I can actually write on, or at least reiterate my previous rants. But I think tomorrow I will feel sucky, at least until campaign. Maybe Firehorse is on fire too and we can whine at each other.
