Serenity

I was feeling pent up and restless, last night. If I had space entirely my own, I know exactly what I would have needed - an entirely dark room, save for a single candle for me to concentrate on. Music playing would be a mix of Get Up Kids, Juliana Theory, Saves the Day, &c; not loud enough to be felt physically, but loud enough that it seems to originate inside my skull rather than outside.

Instead, I took a tealight outside and sat in the courtyard with it, letting my thoughts sort themselves out. By the time the sprinkles came on, I was rather refreshed and calmed, and ready for bed.
