Out of the silence

Jeph Jaques has been reported dead. This breaks my brain, along with the brains of everyone else who was eating Hilary's cake.

So, I haven't been saying much. The point is, there really isn't that much to say. Work is boring, but pays, and I occasionally get things that I can say "I did this" to. In bigger news, I'm flying out for Colorado this weekend, and so will be in short supply. It's not clear how much I'll be seeing old friends, but hopefully I will see some at least in passing. I will see family (grmblgrmbl) and will also end up at the Rennaissance Festival - in fact, I'll have more liquid assets than I've ever had during a trip there, so who knows what I'll end up coming back with. I've also got a dentist's appointment.

Other than that, life goes on.
