And finally, Fleck gets the chance to really be his own character. If things work out (stupid play-by-post when I'm at my parents' house) he'll have gotten Bristletail back despite the best, if (in Fleck's eyes) misguided, efforts of the rest of the party.
That, and the rest of the party will think that he just sealed a kobold cleric in a ransacked dragon's lair to starve, although (a) he left the "seal" with a convenient thin spot saying BREAK HERE and (b) he knows a cleric of that level can't starve to death, and is pretty sure he could get out even if he did make the seal solid.
