Ill-thought-out feature?

So, we each now have an RSS Atom feed of our LJ entries. A quick test of this shows that it allows anyone to see, perhaps not the entries themselves, but the presence and subjects of locked entries that would perhaps not be otherwise available.

What do you think - good idea, bad idea? The monthly calendar view blocks out the subjects.

Atom feed update

Either I was on crack earlier, or it's been fixed. I'm not seeing it anmore, except on my own, which a login would make sense.
